Hi. I'm Laine. I'm an artist and an IFS informed coach in Sarasota, FL.

When I'm not in the studio or working on my own projects, I support people who are creating something new and meaningful—like choosing whether or not to go to grad school, planning a dream wedding, getting back into the studio after a period of retreat, putting on an educational concert, or simply building a regular creative practice.

These types of pursuits matter deeply to us. They can be exciting, challenging, and even transformative. And they often exist outside of our established commitments or society’s typical structures for professional life. They will require you to grow.

Using Internal Family Systems (IFS), I work as an IFS informed coach, working with the challenges that get activated as you pursue your creative ideas —self-doubt, resistance, and inner conflict—and build greater capacity, clarity, and steadiness. IFS helps you gently shift out of reactive coping strategies and into a more natural sense of self-leadership, so you can show up better equipped for what you’re creating.

When you're creating something important, it’s easy to lose sight of your own growth and well-being, and focus all your energy on the mechanics of the goal itself. At best, this is a missed opportunity. Over time, it can lead to burnout or to losing the spark altogether. I can offer support during the intensity of the creative endeavor.

I use IFS in my own life and have experienced firsthand how effective it can be. I’m a credentialed coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and have completed the IFS Institute’s ICF-accredited Foundations for Coaches training.

If this resonates with you, I’d love to talk. Schedule some time with me and we can explore whether coaching feels like a good fit for you right now. No obligation.
